The Social Security Administration publishes a monthly snapshot of social security recipients which you can find the July report here. According to the over 65 enrollment numbers, there was an increase of 132,000 new social security recipients in July.
According to analysis done by the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, social security recipients will receive a 23 percent benefit cut if social security isn’t shored up before 2033.
With a demographic crisis peculating in the United States and most of the western world and Asia there are no more skilled people to import to address some of the population issues much less social security contributions.
