We covered Part I of our graphical view of defensive portfolio yesterday so today we will cover the other stocks we think are worth holding in our portfolio for the long term. Let’s get to it!
In this batch of investment stocks, we are interested in positioning ourselves in key food producers given the chaos in Russia and the subsequent bans on food stuffs from these countries. Additionally we want to position ourselves in REITS that will be needed for re-shoring, fixing supply chain problems and residential experiences so we picked up investments to hold over the long term.
Lastly, energy is a huge play right now but we think energy stocks are worth holding now thru 2030 for exceptional dividends and possible consolidation and growth but the dividend will make us happy.
