Back in December we wrote this post entitled, “University Apocalypse 2025” where we discussed some conversations we had with a college recruiter over the holiday break. The San Francisco Gate is now reporting on the issue a few months after we covered the situation and its worth a read.

Colleges across America face a daunting challenge: Their student head count has shrunk more than 5% since 2019, according to a national estimate, as debate over the value of higher education intensified during the public health crisis and economic tumult.

We believe education will be in a world of hurt by 2025. Many private education schools may go under unless they come up with creative solutions such as switching to older students or changing their curriculum to more practical or alternative educational pursuits.

We’re keeping an eye on the situation and look for opportunities to make money from this situation. It is clear that there will be winners and losers over the next few years and as always, the prudent investor typically wins.

Stay tuned and stay solvent…
